Natalie Jackson: I went back into my house feeling excited that my marriage to Franklin had progressed. I went to serve my lunch and stepped out to the dining room, where I sat at one of the six chairs to devour my meal. My handbag was perched perfectly on the dining table. Just then, I heard my phone ringing inside my handbag. I rushed to take it out, and I was surprised to see that my father was the one calling me. I felt hesitant to answer his call. I dropped the phone and went back to sit in my chair to have my lunch. My phone rang again, and I finally picked it up. "Hello, Natalie. Why did you place a ban on your sister and tell Franklin to cut ties with all of us?" my father inquired. I kept silent for a while and eventually greeted him, "Good afternoon, Dad." "Yes, 'afternoon.'
