Chapter TwentySea Scope: Present day I woke to insistent tapping on my door. At first, I didn't realize where I was but quickly remembered I was in my old room at Sea Scope. My diary lay spread on the floor open to a page I'd been reading when I'd fallen asleep. I picked it up and went to answer the door. Carolyn stood there completely dressed, her eyes wide. “What took you so long?
