When Vic arrived at work, he found a note jammed into the vent of his locker. Without looking at it, he knew it was from Kyle. The damn i***t couldn’t take a hint, could he? Everything about that man pissed Vic off, no matter how nice a guy Matt claimed he could be. He wasn’t jealous of Kyle, far from it—he was the one with Matt now, he had everything he needed in the world in that one man alone. He trusted Matt; if his lover were to attend the cookout by himself, Vic wouldn’t question his loyalty. But something about his coworker just set everything in Vic on edge, and the thought of wasting his Saturday evening being social with the guy turned his stomach.
