Chapter 27 It was only later that Matt began to wonder why Jordan had asked about the powers. He lay where Jordan had left him, in the doorway of the open closet, his sweaty skin cooled by the air vent in the floor of the bedroom, his hands wrestling with the knots that bound his wrists.
