(Elara's POV)
The clouds drifted in front of the moon, casting the cabin into deepening darkness. As the light dimmed, my other senses heightened painfully. I could feel every movement, hear every breath, sense every shift in the Alpha King's powerful body above me.
My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped animal. I couldn't escape—not from him, not from this cabin, and not from the traitorous responses of my own body.
In the darkness, I felt his breath—hot and rough—against the sensitive flesh between my thighs. Each exhale sent ripples of unwanted pleasure through my body, making me tremble uncontrollably.
