I stood by the window of my study, watching the sunlight filter through the ancient redwoods surrounding Thorne Manor. My thoughts kept returning to the mysterious she-wolf from two weeks ago.
The she-wolf was dressed very plainly, not even wearing any jewelry, and was definitely not a candidate for the Luna selection.
