"The Alpha King wishes to see you, Future Alpha."
At those words, my heart skipped a beat. The messenger's announcement sent anxiety through me that I struggled to hide.
Rhys turned to me with a gentle smile hidden in his eyes.
"I must go to my uncle's office for a while," he said in a low voice. "You should return to our residence by car."
