A horrifying thought surged through my mind; I tensed up all over and no longer dared to glance about. What if someone was watching us? The Alpha King's residence would surely have guards, attendants, even security measures I wasn't aware of.
Struggling to compose myself, I reached out and pushed Rhys's head, sobbing. "Alpha... let's hurry back to our residence..."
My voice was barely audible, broken by emotion, my eyes reddened with tears. The overwhelming sensations were too much to bear in such a dangerous setting.
