Oscar has never had a urge to hit a woman in a non-training environment, but he would love to slap some sense into this woman. Just listening to the vile hateful things that come out her mouth, he can only imagine what Maggie has said and done to Leilani. Maggie has always used her position, her supposed prestige over others, believing that everyone is below her, but it is Maggie that has been living in the borrowed position.
Oscar really feels like he owes Leilani so much, he should have been there to protect her, all he has ever wanted was to be a good big brother, calling that one of his most important jobs in life.
