Connor attaches the bag to his back as he moves silently through the city streets following the gray sports car. Thankfully, due to the traffic, it is hardly a fast-moving pursuit and it is easy to move unseen through the shadows without drawing the attention of humans or the two in the car.
The car finally moves onto the motorway and Connor pauses to strip his clothes, stuffing them in his bag and shifting. Connor’s large silver wolf emerges and he runs within the treeline, making sure to keep a close eye on the vehicle.
