Inside the house, Leilani stands in the shower, letting the warm water run over her, her hand moving passed her own body wash and opting for Connor’s, smiling happily as her fingers run over the place that she will be marked, feeling like she can still feel his hot lips on her skin, his whispered promises infused into her.
So much has changed recently but she is in such a good place now, she walks out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around her body as she hears the notification tone on her phone, walking over and checking it quickly.
