The Queen rose her staff and willed it at Maria but nothing happened. She willed it several times still nothing happened and everyone started murmuring amongst themselves
" What's could be wrong? " the Queen asked herself watching the staff to see if there is something wrong with it. She turned to guards beside her
"Get me a random mermaid from the crowd" She ordered and one of the guards swam to the crowd and got a little mermaid of Maria's age. She willed her staff against the little mermaid and the little mermaid shrunk and blast to death. She turned to Maria and willed the staff against her but nothing happened.
