MARIA

Episode 4

Maria still maintained her silence. she tried standing up but falls repeatedly. " you need help " Frank said holding her hands attempting to help her walk properly. He helped her walk to edge of the ship and then stopped. Looking so pitiful, Maria looked at Frank and then looked at the sea with her facial expression that indicate she need help to get into the sea. " you have jump into the water before my dad comes back, if he finds u standing here he will hold u captive for as long as he wants" Frank said looking scared and disappointed that Maria will go. Maria still kept silent and continued looking at the sea. Not knowing what else to do Maria had no choice but to demonstrate to Frank using her hands to push her. Frank understood the gesture and gently pushed her in the sea. On reaching the water water she quickly transformed into a mermaid and swam away without a word as her blue tail flaps in the water.

"she didn't even say thank you to me" Frank said sadly. "but what if she can't talk?" he added trying to comfort himself.

He stood there for 9 minutes looking at the sea when he heard his father's voice and the others. he immediately ran and hid himself.

Mr job came with the others and was surprised to find only the net without the sea creature he caught

" where...whe...... where is it?" Mr.job said looking around for Maria. Frank who was hiding kept so quiet as he scared his father will seriously deal with him if he is to know he let Maria out.

" I swear I caught a mermaid. she must have escaped " Mr job said turning to the others who look at him in disbelieve.

" you must have been day dreaming or imaging it" one of the fishermen said as the rest nodded.

" No! I swear I caught a mermaid with a blue tail"

" Then where is it? " Hank, the leader of them all fired angrily.

" If you really caught a mermaid then where it? You just wasted our time" he added.......
