Fire and chaos

Boom!
We got frozen in our seats because of a sudden loud explosion. It looks like I'm in a movie where everything is in slow motion.
Boom!
There's another explosion, this time it's just fifty meters away from where we are located. The whole island is in fire. I could hear the sirens of a patrol cars and fire trucks. I can hear the shouts and cries of the resident. There is also a chopper that is flying a few meters above us. The lieutenant is talking using his mega phone. I didn't know what the eff is happening. All that I see are the afraid eyes of everyone while they are running out of their cabins.
And I just let Kelsie drags my a*s off from where I am being seated. We run towards the water where the motorboats of the navy is located. Kelsie helps me to climb on the boat.
"Officer Smith, take her to the mainland!" Kelsie commanded the officer.
And just like that the officer maneuvered the boat away from the island. I was so light headed that I feel like I am floating.
The moment I open my eyes, a familiar scent welcomes me. Black room with neon painted stars as an accent. Some kpop posters posted in a door frames and walls.
I was in my own room.
Wait, how do I get here?
Oh yeah,
I remember we were having campfire when we heard a massive explosion. And I remember how Kelsie drags me towards the motorboat of a navy officer.
If I remembered it correctly before I passed out we arrive at the mainland's port. Upon seeing that we arrived, the medics rush towards us and put me on the stretcher. Then they rushed me in a hospital.
But how do I get here? Who told them what happened to me?
"Thank God! You're already awake," said by Lianna who's rushing towards me.
I look at her, she has a blood shot red eyes. Dark circles are visible beneath her eyes. It looks like she's not sleeping for a week.
"Hey, are you okay? Did you feel any pain?" She ask me worriedly.
I'm shock in her sudden change of attitude. I just look at her unbelievably.
"What's with a sudden concern Li?"
"I know you still hate me for all the things that I did to you this past years. I've been a horrible sister to you and instead of protecting you I am the one who's doing some sinister things at you. I know it's already late but Lav, I'm here to ask for your forgiveness. I am so sorry Lav."
I could feel her sincerity but it's not easy to forgive her that fast.
"I need time Li, it's not easy as it seems to be." I replied.
"Okay, I understand."
"Li, how do I get here?"
"Abuelo saw your face being flash on the news. He then use his connections to get you out of that hospital."
"So..why are you here? Where are the housemaids?"
"Uh.. they're busy at the moment," I could sense sadness in her voice.
I just nod at her.
"Are you hungry?" She ask me.
"No, I'm not. I'll just go to the kitchen if ever I get hungry," I said with a dismissing tone.
I close my eyes when I heard the sound of the lock click. I am still in shock for what happened in that island. And I believe it was intentional, someone set the bomb on the island to get rid of me. I'm just lucky that they put it in a wrong location. I don't know if I should be happy because I survive the bombing incident. Knowing that there are houses and businesses that is being affected. And for sure there are some residents who got injured. Maybe there are some casualties, because some are already sleeping at that time.
IT's already night time when I decided to go out of my room to eat my meal. I take a baby steps while walking down the stairs as I pull a stand of IV in my right hand.
When I enter the kitchen, a very quiet atmosphere welcomes me. Even though it's already time for dinner, but I didn't even see any single person inside the kitchen.
"It's new," I said to my self.
Usually at this hour everyone are already seated in a long table and already eating the main course.
I went to to the dinning to find if the cook already cooked our dinner. I'm relieve that there's a three course meal that is good for one person left in the dinning table. And I guess it's for me. I sit in one of the chairs and I started to eat. After that I clean the tables and put the plates that I used in the sink.
I was about to return upstairs when the maindoor opens. And there I saw them a little bit down and their eyes are blood shot read. When they saw me, I could see pain in the eyes of some. While the others I could see hatred and disgust. But what surprised me the most is when abuelo runs towards me and enveloped me in a tight hug.
"I'm glad you're safe,"
After hearing those words coming out from the mouth of abuelo. I stood frozen in my place, still can't believe from what he said.
First my sister Lianna and now abuelo?
What on earth is happening right now?
"Wait.." I distance myself from him.
I inhaled sharply. "Are you relieved that I'm alive? The black sheep in your family are you serious?"
"I know I've been a wicked grandfather to you. And it's hard for you to believe that I am glad knowing that you're safe. But believe me I am really happy that you're alive. And I am sorry for being so harsh on you."
I took a step back.
"First Lianna and now you abuelo? Tell me.. just tell me what on earth if happening right now!" I exploded like a ticking bomb.
One of my aunt help my abuelo to sit on the sofa, while aunt Beatrice ordered one of the house maid to get a glass of water. Then she handed me the water to calm me down.
After I drink all water she assisted me to sit on the couch in the living room.
"I know that we've been so harsh on you since the day you came back from our rest house." My abuelo started to speak.
Upon hearing the word rest house my breathing hitch. I raised my hand signalling him to stop from what his gonna said next.
"Stop, just stop I don't want to hear that again! If you're asking for forgiveness. I can't give it to you this instant. The wound is still fresh even though it's been already half a decade."
After that I stood up and went upstairs.
