Lara’s POV
I couldn’t believe that Graham did that to me. He knew how traumatic that was for me. He brought all the pain back.
I wiped the tears from my eyes as I walked back to the old house.
I looked around and saw Alexa.
“Alexa...” I was like a child who cried in front of her. She put down the basket she was holding and hugged me. I wanted to say a word but my mouth couldn’t move.
I just cried and cried until my eyes couldn’t produce any tears. My heart was heavy. I just thought that Graham would be my healing person, but found out that he was the one who would bring back the pain of my past.
I felt Alexa tapped my back as she comforted me.
“What happened?” she asked with a concerned voice.
Before I could answer her question, I wiped my tears and slowly looked at her eyes
