I graciously accepted Graham's apology, relieved that he finally revealed the truth behind his actions. We resumed our camaraderie as if nothing unpleasant had ever occurred, and he once again assumed the role of our free-spirited driver, much to our delight. As he mingled with his friends, a swarm of attractive girls surrounded him. I couldn't help but observe from a distance while seated on a bench.
Alexa, sensing my preoccupation, waved her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay?" she inquired.
My mind had been fixated on Graham, causing me to miss some of the stories she shared. Trying to evade the subject, I averted my gaze elsewhere. "I'm fine," I responded nonchalantly.
