Lara’s POV
As I walked out of my mother’s room, the scent of lavender lingering in the air. As I walked along the dimly lit corridor, a mysterious figure emerged. His eyes bore into mine.
“My lady, a message for you..” he said as he handed me an envelope in swift’s motion. As I look at the envelope I could feel a chill run down by spine. Every one knew what this was, it either held bad news or good news that could change one’s life. This was a message from the supreme council of the moon goddess. This came in once in a lifetime and now it was here I was nervous to open it, reson being I had done a lot of wrong these days and I was scared the moon goddess was about to punish me for it.
My fingers trembled as I took it, the envelope that held the letter that could change my life.
