Coming of Age When I opened my eyes, the room was filled with the gentle glow of the moon. I was confused and tried to get up, only to find I was nude. My heart raced with panic, but before I could say anything, I noticed Adam on his knees next to me. As he massaged my shoulders, his kind touch was matched by his concerned gaze.
"Hey Lara, easy peasy. With a calming voice, he whispered,
"You're safe." I was curious and vulnerable at the same time. How am I doing? What took place?" With a weak voice, I asked. Adam grinned, his reassuring touch remaining. "I took you here after you passed out during the training.
