Hyacinth walked to her room and looked at the clock over the door. It was already 7:30 p.m. She rubbed her hands together as she nervously searched her room, checking to make sure everything was in order and ready.
The walls are painted white, and the furniture is constructed entirely of wood. She has a small yet pleasant room with nice windows. The windows serve to open up the area and make it seem less stuffy with four sky-facing windows on the ceiling. There is a door on the left side of the room that leads to the bathroom. After eating her lunch, the first thing she did was thoroughly clean her room, since regardless of whether she's meeting her mate or dying, she'd want the surroundings to be neat. She flung all of the clothes that were scattered over the floor into the laundry room. Along with the water bottles, she placed a dish of fruits and five packs of energy bars on the table. She shifted closer to her bed and placed the large black bag she had grabbed earlier from the training room on the floor.
She opened it and drew the long metal chains. As she slid it along the wooden floor, it clattered. Five long chains, one of which is longer than the others. She knelt down and pulled the first chain on the bed's first leg, securing it with a padlock.
All single werewolf beds feature chain hooks on the bed for hanging chains. This is for their safety while they are in heat.
She crawled around the bed, securing the remainder. She took the longest chain and wrapped it around the bed, leaving enough space for her to squeeze in. The shackles are there to prevent her from changing and to halt her motions. These are standard chains that are strong enough to keep her in bed. She made the ankle chains three inches lose. Enough for her to move about a little, and she made the chains on her arms about 10 inches long enough for her middle fingers to contact.
She returned to her backpack and peered inside at the awkward pink handcuffs that resemble belts that Aunt Talina and she stole 3 years ago when she turned 18. Talina thought it was charming, she thought it was hideous, but she can't disagree that the fur makes them rather comfy. The pink leather surrounds the outside layer of the handcuffs, while the fluffy interior but laced with silver.
She set the backpack down on the left side table near the bed.
Aunt Talina and Hyacinth huddled among the bushes at the edge of the woodland, staring at the police car that had been stopped on the side of the road for an hour.
"Auntie, I don't see why we have to run for five hours just to look at that silly automobile," she grumbled. She messed around with the grasses and collected as many dandelions as she could locate. She produced eight flower crowns in an hour while Talina continued staring at the man in the police car.
"Be quiet. It's for you. Silver is scarce in the pack," Talina whispered.
"It's not rare; I'm sure the soldiers have a ton of silver in the prison," she said quietly.
She shifted her gaze away from the automobile and arched an eyebrow at me.
"Do you really-." she began, but Hyacinth covered her ears.
"Stop. Okay. I understand it," she flushed, looking down at her flower crowns. The problem of heat is similar to the topic of menstruation, which makes everyone uncomfortable.
"Besides, don't you think it's fun?" she said excitedly.
"Come on, let's go," Talina remarked as she patted her shoulder.
These handcuffs are composed of silver and will keep her wolf from moving. Shifting on her wolf on a full moon and fleeing her residence has repercussions.
She stood up and patted the dirt off her buttocks. They slid into the back of the car and crouched on the ground. Talina handed her a little vial from a small bag she had taken with them on their excursion. As Talina folded a piece of linen into a five-inch length and width, she opened the vial. She handed Talina the vial, and she emptied the entire contents over the towel. They exchanged nods and stared at each other in the eyes. Talina entered the police car by the right door, while she entered through the left.
She rapped on the window, rousing the cop. He sprang up in his seat, startled, and looked about. He pulled down his window when he spotted them and said, "What are you doing here? Do you need help?"
"Ye-." Talina opened the door on the other side and excitedly placed the towel over the policeman's face and lips before she could continue speaking. The man resisted but couldn't move because Talina was pressing his head into the headrest with such force.
"How can you let him breathe the poison freely when you're attempting to fuse his head with the headrest?" Hyacinth yelled in hushed tones.
When he learned about the poison, the man's eyes widened and he trashed some more, letting out a muffled cry.
"Officer, don't worry, it's not poison. It's just a little sleeping perfume I prepared,", Talina cooed to get the officer to take a breath.
Hyacinth fixed her gaze on the officer's beer belly. She was quite aback by how large it was. It was practically in contact with the stirring wheel. She brought her finger up to his tummy and prodded it. The men in the pack don't have a beer belly.
The policeman was taken aback by what Hyacinth did and inadvertently inhaled, passing out like a light. She stared at the man, then at Talina.
"What did you do?" Talina inquired, squinting her eyes.
Talina reinserted the cloth into her purse, and she removed her finger from the man's stomach and said, "I just probed his belly. Do human guys become pregnant?"
"Why would you...., Doesn't matter, it worked." She grumbled and shook her head, looking around the dashboard and the officer's belt.
"There it is," she said, pulling a pair of leather gloves from her purse and tossing the other one her way. She motioned to the backseat, "Check for more handcuffs, and use the gloves."
She opened the rear door and had a peek around. At the rear of the passenger seat, she discovered a duffel bag on the vehicle floor. She rummaged through it and discovered various firearms, clothing, and a shackle.
She took the handcuffs and handed them to Talina. She took off the glove and flung it at her as she motioned for it.
"I'd look like a prisoner in it," she said with hatred as she looked at the silver shackles.
"Don't worry. I'll give it a little oomfph. You'll love it," Talina said with a wink. She shut the driver's seat door and turned to face the wilderness. Her stomach growled, and she said, "Can we hunt for a deer before going home?"
Present
She walked downstairs and bolted each door shut and secured every window to prevent uninvited people from entering while she was tied and helpless. A normal wolf would not approach a wolf in heat unless it was his mate. A weak wolf dies when he succumbs to the pressure and violently marks a female who isn't his mate. She rushed to the kitchen and opened the fridge after covering the windows with basic brown curtains. She took the containers full of food that she had made two hours before and carefully stacked it in the fridge. To compensate for the time she'd be bound to the bed, She prepared meals that might last a week. She took out all of the leftovers in the fridge that would go bad if not consumed within the next week. Two frozen pizza slices, a beef stew cooked by Jerry two days ago, seafood ramen from last night, bread purchased three days ago, a slice of strawberry cake supplied by Aunt Talina's patients, and sweet potatoes that she chose to boil two hours ago are all on the menu. Before checking the time on the clock in the living room, she ate everything and scrubbed the dishes. She looked at the clock and saw that it was already 8:30 p.m.
'Three and a half hours to go,' she calculated.
She took two steps at a time up the stairs and walked into the corridor that led to my room at the far end of the hall. She went to her room and then to the restroom. She turned on the light and began stripping down to her pink undershirt and pink underpants. She approached the full-length mirror and stood in front of it and admiring her stomach as she squeezed it with her fingers. When she started working out with Talina and Jerry, all of the baby fat she had gained in her early adolescence vanished. She moved to the bathtub, turned on the tap, and returned to the mirror to examine her face. Her eyes have begun to light brighter than the day before. Sweat was dripping down her brow, the first indicator that she was on the verge of getting her heat.
She placed some of the flower hyacinth fragrance oil into the tub and stripped naked and got into the lukewarm bathtub. She sat down and rested her head on the tub's edge. She had three hours before midnight, so she decided to rest her muscles in the shower for a few minutes.
When she felt her right knee bend and heard the breaking of her bone, she screamed awake. She got out of the pool and hopped to her room on one leg, leaving water trails on the white tiled floor. She clung to the doorframe and looked at the clock, which showed 11:54. Six minutes to midnight. Her body shook violently, leading her to stumble and fall to the floor. She got up from the ground and dashed to her bed, disregarding the agony on her right knee. She got to her bed and locked the chain with a lock that goes around the bed and over her waist. The other four chains are in her arms reach on the bed. She grabbed the nearest one and looped the chain around her ankle with the padlock before repeating the process on the other foot. Her hands began to tremble and she struggled for her hands on the chain. She wrapped it around her wrist and kept an eye on the time. It was already 1:57.The restraints.
'How could I have forgotten the most vital thing?' she reasoned.
She returned her gaze to the bag on the table to her left beside her bed and attempted to reach for it. She had all of the chains fastened but not the silver. The one thing that could keep her from shifting. Without it, all the bands that currently bind her are no match for her wolf's might.
She yanked on the chains, attempting to reach for the bag, which was already brushing her fingertips but was still out of reach. Her perspiration and water from the bath began to combine and saturate the white bedspread.
'H!', her wolf called out in panicked. She was also trying to suppress her from coming out.
'Help me.', she pleaded. She looked at the clock. 11:59:45. 15 seconds left.
She screamed when she felt her bones shift and c***k. Her left arm extended into different angles but was enough to reach the bag.
With a shattered left arm, she summoned all her might and pulled the bag to her bed, emitting a snarl.
With her right hand, she reached into the bag and placed the handcuff around her shattered left wrist.
At the same time, she felt the first prickle of a thousand needles.
