The engagement party was a big success!
Dino had pulled a small miracle. Because he was so organized, he was able to delegate the preparation of the food. The invitations were calligraphied and sent out to the recipients early in the morning.
By mid-afternoon, the ballroom was being readied. The large room was festooned by ribbons and heart-shaped balloons. Before the party begun, a large cake was wheeled inside the kitchen.
Daphne had been overwhelmed. She thought they would just announce to a handful of people their engagement. She had never expected that there would be a big party to celebrate the happy occasion!
