King Avner and Daphne saw their son together. Egon had grown bigger since she last saw him.
"Were we gone for so long?" Daphne wondered as she carried her son in her arms.
"You were gone for half a year, Daphne!" Ma Freda replied tearfully.
"I haven't noticed the passing of time!"
"I've been worried for you, Daphne!" King Avner hugged her and Egon closely to his chest. "My mother told me this palace is mysterious!"
"To us, this is home. To the outsider, it is full of mystery. Mam Romina was considered an outsider because she lived in the city!" Daphne told him tenderly. "Princess Augusta is very careful. Many burglars had attempted to enter the palace before."
"Did they have success?" King Avner watched at their son clutching her hair.
"Some. They wanted the diamonds," Daphne shrug
