Piao Cortez growled weakly.
"More? Wait!" Lord Robber turned around to get the cage upstairs. He had six more rabbits in there.
The starving tendrils followed him. They became fat by the minute. And they multiplied! From ten vine-like limbs, they were a hundred small tendrils!
"Whoa! You're growing many so fast!" Lord Robber had panicked. He ran to the operating table where Piao Cortez was struggling mightily. He picked a hammer and bashed his forehead. There were two lumps now.
Piao lost consciousness. The tendrils went unmoving. They slowly faded.
Lord Robber blinked his eyes. He stared at the seven rabbits. They were all fur and bones. All dried up. Their juices from the flesh were sucked out!
He grinned suddenly. "I know now how to control you, Piao Cortez!"
