Drayden - Chapter 20
I’m on the floor against the wall contemplating my next move when Molly suddenly gasps. She jumps up and away from Reginald. I frag to her.
“What?” I say.
“His lip! It moved!”
I look. I can see more than her and I see nothing. My brother is motionless. As still as can be. I watch him for twenty seconds and notice nothing. He’s not communicating. He’s not doing anything.
“Are you absolutely—”
“It moved!” She insists.
I put my palm on his head and the other on his heart, and I sense something powerful happening. The activity I feel is tremendous! The vibrations are real. Nothing visible shows on the outside but the cellular battle inside is at a level I recognize. He’s fighting! He’s battling the nanos!
I step away. I feel the energy in the room
