It was agreed by all but Operator Four, who had been sent to the kitchen for a list, that two should head down to the basement to “destroy, deposit, or tweak,” said the H-Pad 11—and, whilst there, source “mending equipment, tools, and anything that would make this whole sad business easier.”
Operator Two muttered about things being “a tad vague,” but as the rest were arguing over who was going where, she decided to shut up with another scone firmly in place.
“Why don’t you use the H-Pad 11 template?” said the secretary, who was also now the minute taker until they could source a mechanical one. “After all, that was whole idea of pilfering it.”
