I almost felt like shedding tears at the end of her sad story. It was even more touching for me as I could perfectly relate to being put down by someone else. That was the summary of my ordeal with my twin brother.
“It must be quite a harsh existence for you right now…” I didn't know what words to use while trying to comfort her. Her experience was one that would take quite a while for one to get over.
It was bound to stick with her for the rest of her life if she didn't meet an even much happier experience that would wipe the pain of all that away from her memory.
