I almost couldn't believe the words that had just come from Ryder to me. It was hard for me to understand what had just happened.
The sparks that had been flying had been suddenly snuffed out as I was simply amazed at the fact that he had just given me an excuse that was so flippant.
“Are you really being serious, Ryder…?” I asked with a rage that just couldn't be understood as I was on my way out of bed to get a clearer view of all his face.
