“What just happened?” I kept asking myself as I watched Tara get back in her dress as she didn’t seem to be feeling any of the guilt which I was feeling at that point. There were just too many thoughts flying through my head at that point as I was wondering… what exactly had I just done with my Alpha’s mistress.
That was a death sentence in the making if a word of it happened to get out to Ryder. He would surely have me turned into dinner if he’d heard that I had just had a taste of what he usually had.
It was quite hard to understand what it had been all about for Tara. Was she trying to take out the frustration with Ryder on me? That seemed to be the most logical explanation for that sort of strange behavior which she was displaying right there and then.
