"Calm down…" Isla said to me as we got into the car. "It's that stupid girl's fault. She just didn't know when and how to shut up. She just had to give us away in front of Alpha Ryder. I wish there was a way for us to get to her before leaving."
There was just too much on my mind as I was trying my best to access all that had just happened to me at that point. It was the worst kind of humiliation I had received as an alpha. The fact that Amelia had been there to glean my humiliation was just unimaginable.
