Ryder's POV
“Ryder…?” Tara called out to me and that made me feel a bit annoyed for just no cause. “Are you walking out on me?”
It was at that moment that I regained full control of my impulses and realized that I was about to walk out on the woman I called Luna.
There were a lot of things on my mind that made me almost oblivious to the fact that I was treating her that way. There was just one thing on my mind that made me feel that way. It was Amelia, and I was scared of the way I was letting all of it cause some obvious behavioral changes.
“You're doing this…” Tara stood there, probably feeling ashamed as she had stripped herself bare for me, and I wasn't paying her any mind at all. “Walking out on me? Because of her?”
