“Are you Alpha Ryder's mate?” The fact that he had a smile on his face while saying that had me feeling even weirder about all of it. It was almost difficult for me to breathe from the shock of how quickly things were developing.
“What?” I asked as I got up to my feet. I tried to show how annoyed and offended I was by that question that he had asked. That way it was going to kill all possible suspicions in case he had any.
