“What the heck…?” I let out as Tara suddenly stood between me and the path that I had been walking on. I was surprised and frightened at once, as I had been trying not to get into any sort of trouble.
But right at that moment, trouble had come right to me in the form of Tara, who looked like she had just had the worst of experiences with Ryder.
