There were a lot of things going through my head as I was looking forward to getting along with Freya. Everything seemed to be a bit more bearable while having someone to go through all the suck with me.
But then, the last warning she had given me was still ringing in my head all through the kitchen duty that I was doing at that point. There were just too many unexpected things in the life of a maid in Ryder's fortress.
