There was just too much tension at the moment and that had me feeling pretty awkward that I still hadn't made things right with Tara as that had been the root cause of every single thing that had gone off.
"Are you even listening to anything I've been saying, Alpha?" Kylian asked, as he was trying not to sound disrespectful, even though he was mad at just how absent-minded I was.
"I'm sorry… really sorry…" I muttered as I was trying to get myself to focus at that moment. There was nothing else to do besides all that was happening back then.
