Amelia's POV
“Wait… what are you doing here?”
I was wondering what the meaning of that question as I stared at him in disbelief. Why was he acting like he hadn't been the one who had sent me a letter to meet him in his study?
In the heat of my fear and trepidation, I had followed the orders without wondering what exactly the alpha could have called me for that time around. There were a lot of things that had me feeling like I was about to get punished for following the wrong orders.
“What am I doing here?” I rephrased, just to make sure that I had heard the right question, as it seemed to be in my frightened mind that all the problems and distortion were coming from. “I followed the note that you had your goon send to me, nothing less.”
“Are you sure about that?” Alpha Ryder asked
