“Where's she?” I still didn't understand why I had decided to take the search for her that personally.
Perhaps it was Rex that was making me do it. As stupid as that sounded, I used it as the perfect excuse for what I was doing. I wasn't supposed to be concerned about some random girl that claimed to be the alpha's daughter. But then, there I was, searching for her like some sort of psycho.
