As the fleet dropped out of jump space Jess was already coming up to speed on the situation. The Wanderer had identified a number of Imperial ships, frigates in particular, in the region of the station. Three were particularly close.
Now the Wanderer was back in real space it could get a much better picture. As Jess had feared, the frigates were firing upon the station. He tried to decide what to do. If it had been just two frigates he might have risked a direct attack, but three would be difficult to cope with even for the Wanderer.
