More stations, planetary bases and other settlements. More death and destruction. More refugees. Always more refugees. For Jess that was the most constant thing.
Not that the Wanderer had to take them all, or even most of them. Sometimes there were ships allied to those in danger which were willing to help. Sometimes those ships could take every refugee. Not everyone in danger but everyone who was willing to leave. Even when they had spare space they would never take refugees from anywhere else, of course.
