Thelma's POV
With trembling hands, I opened the folder. Inside were photographs, documents, and what appeared to be investigation reports. The first photo made my breath catch, it showed a couple, young and vibrant, standing in front of a pack house. The woman had my eyes. The man had my smile.
"The Silvermoon Pack," Xavier said quietly. "One of the strongest packs in the region twenty years ago. Your father, Alpha Damian Silvermoon, was known for his wisdom and strength. Your mother, Luna Sera, was a healer of exceptional ability. Together, they built a pack that was prosperous, peaceful, and powerful."
I stared at the photos, feeling a strange ache in my chest. These people, my real parents, were complete strangers to me, yet something in me recognized them.
"What happened to them?"
