The wolfsbane in my body felt like it was spreading into every single part of my soul and it hurt so bad. I just wanted the slow creeping pain to end quickly. I slowly opened up my eyes and the world seemed to have blinked with me. As I found myself in a meadow again that seemed to have been stretching around me. Dandelions swayed gently, their golden petals felt soft against the breeze, but they didn’t feel real. Nothing here did. The wind carried no scent. The grass didn’t rustle. The air was too still. like the world was holding on to its breath. I took a step forward and the sky flickered and glitched like an old memory from blue, to red, and then black. Flames bloomed in patches above me, not descending from clouds, but flickering between the spaces in the sky like the world itse
