I was angry that I couldn't join Zerra as she removed her seal. I want to be with her when this milestone in her life happens. But a rule forbade me, and I am beyond furious. I was clenching my fists and gritting my teeth while watching her go without me. I trust Harley. There's no doubt about that, but still, I can protect Zerra better. I know she is afraid. She was trying to hide it from me, but I know her better than anyone now. I can feel it when there's something wrong with her. We don't have a mate bond, but I just know when she's not okay or when she's in danger. I was fuming badly when my phone rang.
