The Fight

Sara entered the room. It seemed fairly spacious and the entire floor was covered by a carpet. However, there was no furniture save a simple table and 3 chairs; 1 on the drawer side, evidently Ninja 9999's, and 2 opposite to it. The walls were full of weapons of different shapes and sizes. There were rifles, guns and mostly ancient swords. On the table, there were some papers, books, a globe and a pen-stand, containing a pen, pencil and a stick. There was also a shiny pebble near the pen-stand. It rather looked like the pebble was emitting light.
Sara had no idea what, or why, the stone was doing there, but before she could give much thought to it, Ninja 9999 said "Sit down."
Ninja 9999 resumed his own seat and said, "So, have you been shown around the academy?" His tone was serious compared to their meeting in school.
"No." replied Sara, "Ninja 2369 said I'll have to meet you as soon as I entered."
"Did anyone help you through the gates or did you figure it out yourself?"
"The latter."
"Ah, I see. Strange but I had given them the orders," he muttered. "Well, I don't think it matters, now that you are here. by the way, let me inform you that you will need a partner or two."
"Partner?"
"Yes. Everyone here works here as a duo or trio."
Just then, there was a loud knock on the door. Ninja 9999 and Sara looked at it for a minute before Ninja 9999 said, "I think you can leave now, Ninja 3006." Sara got up and waited for Ninja 9999 to answer the knock. However, he just nodded as if indicating her to open the door. When she did, a chill passed through her body as she recoiled. "Oh my god!"
The ejaculation was drawn from her lips as a huge man, height at least 6 feet 8 inches, and his eyes dark, but red and bloodthirsty stood in front of her, but that was the least of the horrors Sara faced. In his hand, a knife and badge, both covered in blood. Moreover, he was wearing the same locket which Sara had seen the other day.
Ninja 9999 leapt from his chair and lunged at the man, losing no time in drawing his sword, and they began duelling. Sara just stood horrified by the way things were taking a turn so rapidly and unexpectedly. She wanted to help, but this time, she couldn't figure out a way. Everything in the office was overturned and broken. However, after 2 strained minutes of fighting, Ninja 9999 dug his sword into his opponent's throat threateningly, who now did nothing but scowl angrily.
"What have you done? Who have you killed? What do you want?" he asked coldly but heatedly. The man just sneered.
"What have I done? Well, nothing much. Yet."
Ninja 9999 dug it further. Sara winced slightly as beads of blood bled; an action which did not go unnoticed by the man. Again, he could do nothing but scowl.
"As to who I've killed, again, no one. Just that I couldn't unpin the badge of the ninja I duelled outside the gates. So making her unconscious and severing it out seemed like a piece of cake. Of course, I could have climbed up and jumped off the gates but it just seemed prudent to follow your stupid protocols."
Sara could see no way he could have climbed or jumped off the gates as a) There were no footholds on the railings, b) The gates were at least 20 feet high.
Ninja 9999 dug his sword deeper, this time the man wincing.
"What do I want? You really shouldn't have asked. Pretty sure what I have to say has crossed your mind." he cackled, then his eyes darted at the stone on the table. Ninja 9999 howled with rage but the man must have anticipated his next move as he slid off his grip and stabbed him hard on his knee. Ninja 9999 fell hard to the ground. "You are strong but predictable." the man said as he rushed at the stone and slipped it into his pocket before giving a glance at Sara and jumping out of the window. Sara hoped he would not be able to land on his feet as he hit the ground, in fact, she didn't even expect him to. To her surprise, he did land on his feet and sprinted off. Roughly estimated, the wall of Ninja Academy was 25-30 feet high. Perhaps, he could jump off the gates after all.
Her attention went back to Ninja 9999, lying dazed and injured on the floor.
