(Evelyn's POV) * * * * * * * * * She saw Maya, her image was just how Evelyn remembered it, nothing had changed. Now, Evelyn was fully aware of what it was, a fiction of her imagination, her deepest thoughts, desires, and yearns manifesting. In a possible situation where help tore through the barriers to console her, Evelyn kept that fact at the back of her mind. The feeling was just like it always was when they were together, Evelyn realized how much she missed it. She wanted to go closer to her, she wanted to hug Maya. But somehow every time she got close, Maya drifted further away. Evelyn felt something strange, she was still surrounded by Maya's presence, it felt surreal. Evelyn could get used to it, she already felt comfortable. In there she wasn't scared, she wasn't pressured
