23. The Bluish Light

King Kristopher was shocked when he heard the knight of the neighbouring kingdom offered himself to go out, "But young man, this is not your war."  "No, Your Majesty, when I have said that I am willing to help the Paralia kingdom and help Princess Ovidia Rose, it means that I am willing to fight against these monsters." Sir Kay's smile was full of conviction.  The king had no other choice. The remaining warlord of the kingdom, named Commander Stefan, was already out there. Finally the King agreed to the knight's proposal and remained in the castle with all the remaining people.  "Rest assured, Your Majesty, I am protected by the most powerful knight from our kingdom." Sir Kay's smile was full of meaning.  King Kristopher nodded with understanding when he saw the large brown figure who was now standing next to the knight. Seeing this, Liam felt that he couldn't stay still in this room. Therefore, he offered to help himself, but first he had to go back to his room to get the weapon he had assembled himself for the past three days.  Sir Kay agreed. But it turned out that Mayang didn't agree that Liam went out to fight against the monsters again. Even though she was still very scared, she didn't want to bear the burden of responsibility in case something happened to her friend's life in this foreign land. "You have a weapon?" asked Sir Kay, a little worried about Mayang's safety.  Mayang couldn't answer it, but then Liam answered, “Yes, we have! I've prepared for it in case something like this happens again.” And after that, the four of them including the bear Misha, rushed to Liam's room to take all the weapons.  Only Troya did not volunteer to fight outside. For some reason, she had the feeling that she Shall be by the side of the King and Queen. Maybe the hunch came because one by one the people who were relied on to protect the King and Queen left this room. Nor did she know what she could do to protect the King. But at least, she could do something in case something untoward happened.  Suddenly, Troya felt her left shoulder, which was the creature's scratch mark, throbbed with pain. She was silent for a while to endure the pain, while closing her eyes.  "Are you all right, dear?"  Troya did not expect that Empress Queen Anna would approach her and ask how she was. Troya smiled faintly looked at the tired face but still looked beautiful, "A little hurt, but still bearable."  Queen Anna furrowed her brows in pity, "Does the pain occur frequently?"  Troya shook her head slowly, "Usually it just aches, but this time it feels like pain from a new wound."  “I will call the palace doctor. Please wait!" said Queen Anna. Without waiting for Troya's reply, she had already gone to find the palace doctor.  Troya was touched because the Queen was so concerned about her, even though a few moments ago, she didn't seem to care about the fate of the three of them. She also felt very surprised because the pain on her shoulder really stabbed and drained all of her strength. Whereas since yesterday, even though it still felt sore, it was just a pain from the old scar, it didn't hurt at all.  And the answer unfolded, when she looked out of the corner of her eye, Mr. Tonement silently walked toward the King who was still standing on the throne stage. The king didn't realise of course. Mr. Tonement was hiding his right hand, behind his black robe decorated with gold thread around the hem of the collar and sleeves.  Troya furrowed her brows. As she remembered, since the beginning of the trial the old man had always hidden his right arm. And for some reason this time, Troya noticed that things were a little strange. And if only she had not moved fast, in just seconds, Mr. Tonement was already lifted his arm, while holding a long fang, targeting the King. Troya's hand and Mr. Tonement was in the same position, only with different goals. Troya knew that there was very little chance of saving the King, so she changed her target. She turned her body so she faced the advisor.  And somehow, as if a force was pouring from the bottom of her stomach, feeling warm and unstoppable, Troya's palm touched Mr. Tonement. After that, a bluish light appeared which pushed the body of the adviser, then he was thrown and hit the wall behind him.  King Kristopher, Queen Anna and all those still in the room turned their heads to find out what had just happened. The king's eyes widened immediately when he saw the advisor's body slumping weakly with a cracked wall behind him and a long fangs, just like those of a bat monster.  But apart from all that, they were all immediately stunned when they saw Troya's hand that was still shining blue. In that instant, the Queen immediately approached and embraced her.  "It turns out that all of that is true, you three are the answer to all of this." * Five arrows shot at once with speed like a firearm, piercing through thick fur and tearing the skin of the three monsters. Liam grinned triumphantly. This homemade weapon turned out to be exactly what he expected.  Sir Kay turned to Liam and gave him a thumbs up, "Thanks!" He smiled, because previously the three monsters intended to attack the knight simultaneously.  Then Sir Kay walked over to Liam intending to admire the boy's new weapon. But that moment of happiness didn't last long, because a few moments later Mayang shouted at the two of them to focus back on fighting.  Sir Kay and Liam looked at each other. And maybe because they were both men, they had their own code of communicating without words, they understood each other and started attacking at the same time.  Meanwhile, somehow Mayang seemed to be cooperating with the bear, Misha. Initially Mayang was very worried and scared because she would fight alone. But with Misha always standing not far from her, she felt that she was getting protection from behind, so she could focus on fighting the monsters in front of her eyes without having to think about a single intruder who would attack her from behind. The weapon that Liam made for her was amazing. A stick of 1.8 meters long with a diameter of four centimeters made of aluminum. The stick was divided into three segments. At the end of the first segment was a trigger like a gunshot. And at the end of the second segment, where the end segment can be bent so that the middle segment and the outer edge met each other, there was a hole that would throw a bullet when the trigger was pressed. A type of long barrel pistol with a unique and very simple model. The bullet was already in the burrow, which was held in place by some sort of bulkhead.  If Mayang c****d the end of the segment, the bullet would be ready in position, after that when she pressed the trigger, a steel spring would launch the bullet at a speed of 80 km/hour. It was still less fast than the speed of an ordinary g*n that reaches 180 km/hr. But it was already capable of making those monsters quite badly injured.  But, no matter how hard they fought, the monsters seemed endless, just kept coming in from the hole. So that gradually, they all became exhausted. Even Mayang could not bear the weight of her own body, so she fell to the ground with several wounds on her body.  If only Misha hadn't helped her when a wolf jumped on top of her, she would have lost her life. Liam felt relieved when he saw Misha tore the wolf's body that intended to attack Mayang. He had been terrified that he would not succeed in preventing it before he fired his arrows.  He thought hard, if this goes on, they would all lose one by one. And in the end all their struggles would be in vain. He had to stop the source of those monsters from appearing.  "We must close the hole!" shouted Liam.[]
