28. The Sleeping Curse

Hearing this, Troya and Mayang were very surprised. Whereas the King and the others were silent, agreeing to what the Queen said.

Troya furrowed her brow, "Sleeping curse?" suddenly her face looked very pale. She gave her two best friend a signal about that. Liam and Mayang understood. As a child, they probably had heard about couple of fairy tales about sleeping curse, Princess Aurora and Snow White. Was the horror in this Kingdom related to one of the fairy tales?
Seeing the reaction of their guests, the King and Queen looked at each other, feeling sorry that the three teenagers had to appear in a chaotic situation like this. Finally Troya and Mayang were invited to sit back down, while King Kristopher began to tell them everything.

Troya, Liam and Mayang were sitting together in the library room after they heard all the stories that had happened in this kingdom. For a moment, they were at a loss for words, so they just sat on the sofa.
"We can't be here!" said Mayang suddenly getting up from the sofa and starting to walk back and forth. "We shouldn't be here! This isn't our world at all!" she continued again feeling so panicked.
"Mayang, calm down," said Liam, still sitting with Troya, but his eyes began to follow Mayang's body movements.
"How can I be calm! How did we get here? What world is this? Are we going back to the past? Or are we traversing space and time so that we drop into a world completely different from the world we know? You know, parallel world! This is all nonsense! We have to get out of here right away!" Mayang decided.
"Get out of here at the risk of forever we will never be able to return to our world again?" replied Troya at last.
Mayang stopped pacing, Troya's words had a point. But that only made her more nervous.
"Don't you see, the only way for us to get out of here is to help them!" said Liam.
"Helping? We are weaker than them! I'm not from the world where holding weapons were a normal thing to do. I just did it this time!" denied Mayang.
"You guys, please don't fight!" cut Troya. "Liam is right, before all of us were in this world, at that moment I heard a voice." Finally she started telling what happened to them when the bluish light sent them here.
"A voice?" asked Liam and Mayang together.
"I don't know whose voice, but it's several women's voice. The women ... asked us for help to save their kingdom," answered Troya.
There was silence for a while, until finally Mayang began to speak. "And you just told us about it now?" scolded Mayang felt hopeless at all this.
"I just have the chance now! Don't blame me!" replied Troya with an equally bitter response.
"Come on, stop! The three of us have already entered this world. If it is true that the only way we can return to our world is by helping them, why don't we just do it?" cut Liam feeling confused at the screams of his two girlfriends.
"Yes, you are right! If I pay attention, once a week, the King must send an army of soldiers to hunt Lycos and Liliac. At that time, we must join in and immediately go to Valborga headquarters to destroy her!" added Troya, getting excited.
"OK, so that's our decision? The faster we move, the sooner we'll come back!" Mayang also spoke while tapping her knuckles, as if she were ready to eradicate any creature that would come attacking her.
"But this time, we won't attack the tail, we have to go straight for the head!" Troya continued, both nervous and excited about their plans without really understanding what they were really dealing with at this time.
