11. The Journey Continue

"Then," Troya decided to ask, "what happened?"
Kay took a deep breath before telling another story, "As we all know, every kingdom must have a magician to protect their kingdom."
Troya, Liam and Mayang shook their heads in unison. But when they saw the knight's face, who looked confused, they immediately nodded. Of course they wouldn't know about witches and kingdoms apart from fairy tales. The witch in their world didn't exist. But there is a shaman. And it seemed like two different professions.

Troya, Liam and Mayang looked at each other. But before they started to conclude everything, they should listen to the knight's story until it's finished.
"Shall I continue?" asked the knight.
"Yes, forgive us if we cut off your words," said Liam politely.
“Okay. So, perhaps you guys also know Valborga-"
"Who?" This time Mayang cut off.
"Valborga. You've heard about her, have you?"
The three of them shook their head in unison.
"Well, okay, it's not a big deal. She was Paralia's greatest wizard. More powerful than any other wizards from other country. Valborga is great and a genius. Apart from her strong incantations, she was also great at concocting various kinds of potions and poisons. Then at Princess Ovidia Rose's sixteenth birthday, and that means a year ago ….”

At this point, the three teenagers were holding their breath, unable to believe what they had just heard. Their faces immediately turned pale. Of course they would be very scared, because this was not their world. They were far from family, nowhere to hide or seek refuge.
Suddenly, the knight giggled with amusement when he saw the three faces that looked very funny in front of him. Troya, Liam and Mayang naturally felt both amazed and upset.
“Sorry, but your faces are so funny. Actually, part of the story was just my additions. I myself am not from the Paralia kingdom. I am the knight of the kingdom of Diamantia." It was clear Kay was still trying to hide his smile.
Hearing that, the three of them immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Then they laughed together.
"Wait, so where is the prince whose Princess Ovidia's fiancé? Why are you came alone to the country?" Liam asked a few moments later when everything finally started to make sense.
"Actually, the prince was not in good condition. He was sick. Then, since I was adopted by the King when I was still little, that means I was princess Ovidia's fiancee."
Hearing the answer, Troya's heart skipped a beat. She became tense. He is Princess Aurora's fiancé? That meaned, the man beside her, whose face was very similar to Kai's, was the fiancé of another girl. Thinking about it, somehow made her sad. She became a little gloomy.

The three teenagers put on their dry clothes again. Because the clothes borrowed by the Prince are household clothes and couldn't be worn for long trips.
Troya still wore a white shirt and blue jacket with a grey ruffled skirt. She wore knee-length gym pants. Liam was still wearing his school uniform and green jacket. Meanwhile, Mayang, who happened attending her sport club before all this happened, wore her sport uniform, trousers and a red long-sleeved shirt. She also wore a pink jacket on the outside.
“Your clothes are so peculiar. Your shoes are unique too. Is it made of rubber?" said Kay when the three of them came out of the house with all the supplies while the knight was preparing his white horse and a cart pulled by a horse for the three of them to use.
