“That's a good girl," he said, backing away from me. “I came to take you to see Juno. She's doing much better and is ready to take visitors."
I blinked up at him in disbelief. “Really? After all this, you're just going to take me to see her?"
“Well that's what I originally had intended, yes. But after being treated so rudely, I'm not sure if I should. She's in a very delicate place right now, wouldn't want to bring her someone that might agitate her condition, right?" He grinned down at me, taking a step toward the door.
“Sebastian, please-" I said but was cut off before I could finish my thought.
He turned his body quickly to face me again, eyes flashing with fury. “If you are going to beg me, do it properly." He pointed at the floor in front of him without averting his gaze.
