Even if the world changes, I will still love you

Chapter 18

He was looking at her holding her like she was the most precious person in the world.

If only he could be the most powerful person, it would be much more easier not to compete. .

He heard Don Mariano ordered his secretary about the fixed marriage of Isabella and Senor Fedel. He can't be with Isabella, they can't be forever, and that is the reality he's facing now.

He took a deep breathe, took her hand while saying an act of forgiveness which he really want to do the moment she saw the things he did to the farmers, they weren't bad people, but because of military order he was forced to do it.

"A million words would not bring you back. I know because I tried, I know because 

I cried" ... 

DREAMS

   A voice calling from unfamiliar place, it was a shadow of a sadness. Isabella was standing there, she was closed to the same direction of a man holding a bunch of flowers and that he was about to surprised that girl, they were happy together. She wishes herself to be someone like her. She's crying and even if insisting to look for these two people before her, she can't even recognize them. They were blurry, and can't explain the truth behind the tears slowly falling. It was a depth sorrow of a love story that wasn't happily end.

 The rain was slowly falling from their direction, a girl who was sitting in the river was happy seeing him again for the last time. She never refused him from kissing her. Just until they found the love they have fought for a very long time, and she felt that.

 I was that girl who was slowly walking away with the direction they had, many times I insisted myself to him, I won't gonna find the love I'll fought for because it was only her he loved. 

 "I love crying in the rain,because that's the only way no one hear and see me". Isabella.

And that she closed her eyes, and her tears keep falling. Memories keep flashing back, where happy memories stays.

"The saddest part of my life happens in 1897, the saddest point is when I see you happy with someone else, in which my world isn't there anymore". 

 The last time she remember she's on the river, but that was all just her dreams takes her off there. It was the same river they had went yesterday. It was 12:00 noon and everyone is excited for her birthday celebration. At her 20th, she will be celebrating a grand party inviting all the powerful people in the city. Those who were in the Government and in the politics, even those who were in the military service. Those who have power in this life she had. 

 It was exactly 1:00 pm when a girl who dressed as a servant wake her up which had come to assist her in preparing her most unforgettable day. 

The moment she woke up, she realized that she's facing her whole self infront of the mirror in the hospital she had been and that she's crying along with the nightmares she doesn't want to remember. 

 Are you okay? A girl with a pretty face was facing her now and that she can't recognized even after her face looks so familiar, she said she was their new servant.

In a few hours the party will about to start , a chariot will drive us back home,Binibining Jeanna and Senor Armando had given these gifts for you. She hand those wrapped gifts infront of me.

Before she opened it, she told her to make sure getting ready for the party tonight.

Aren't you happy? this is your day!.

 I am, I do. I just hope it turns out to be something special, even things don't gets better, I still have the chance to correct the mistake of my father. Isabella -- 

 This day is one of the biggest day in our City, Aside from the her celebration, she doesn't have any idea that it was not just a birthday party that will going to happen, it's also about her father's plan on her fixed marriage.

Her mother won't witness that and she's

sad remembering that.

"Don't be sad, things will get better soon. Just think that you were lucky at once in your life. You didn't know someone out there wishing that they were be you." servant.

 Who else would wish to be me? If only they knew what sufferings I experienced and then living this whole life, the rest were all a nightmares. 

And that stops her, she doesn't have the choice to take away the things she don't want to live for.

 Who else would have the courage to do so? 

Except for being a courageous woman, she's strong, she was placed by a good character. And that she knows where her heart stands for. 

 "Setting in motion, living a peaceful life and staying away from home". that was she always dream too.

 I just hope people who were wishing to be someone like me could feel the same way around, so that it could been better for them to realized how uneasy it was to be me".

 And that ends their conversation, she had to set up straight facing herself one more time and finally stepping out on her room, take a bath and fixed herself before the preparations.

 Her servant still at her side and that she's looking at her very strange, she's younger than Isabella. She's like18 years old and just like her she's also good and pretty. 

 Before the celebration was started, there were lots of people coming in and out there, and special menu for the visitors were already prepared, the food and decorations are planned so much, but before she go straight to the intro of the party, where a speaker will be introducing her, she first allow herself to be free for a minute, looking her appearance one more time at the mirror, facing what life she will be expecting after this event.. .

Simply because at her 20th she knew that her father will fixed a marriage for her, and that she don't have any idea that it's the same day he planned too.

She had loved Senor Armando for a long time, even if it's not easy dealing him throughout her life, they were childhood friends since then, and every single moment she can't imagine living her life without him, even after what she witnessed, she is determined to fought for him and would change him.

The moment Jeanna and Senor Armando left their place, she was depressed to the point that she had locked herself inside the room, she's very sad knowing that she was alone. 

And now they were finally here, she wants having a long time being with them and that she dreamed to be with Senor Armando for the rest of her lives. 

But her father doesn't want him, she knows he was just using him because he can used him on the military service and that he can protect him from all of his debts and the trouble he have done.

At some point, it was Senor Fedel that he wanted more since they have control with the militaries and there family connections are too many which will be Senor Fedels' father can do for him.

Senor Fedels' father was known for his great service both in military and politics, he did everything to survived in the politics and would able to accomplished a lot in the military just to put things fixed, and fall into it's place. When he got his permission to join the force, he had brought and was trained in Spain and get all back the positions he desire. They have different publishing companies and so as business that made them more even richer, her father knows it all, everyone knows it all.

 "But I still didn't know him, -- Isabella

Who is he?' The girl which tend to be her servant was on her side asking her, keeping her way to her directions, wherever she go, she was there. 

I'm sorry if I need to hear that Binibini, she apologized. 

Isabella tap her shoulders before finally going out to her room. At some point, she knows that anytime she would be marrying Senor Fedel. And that she needs to find her mother before that day happens. She needs to be ready for the real nightmares she had to go through.

 The dazzling sparks over the windows, the crowd was facing her. They were all amazed on her, slowly clapping their hands with full excitement looking at her. 

 She dressed like a lady, just like a blooming flowers, she doesn't imagined this day to happen after a long time being stuck there in that full dark room.

Looking forward for a day like these, is worth for every single day of her waiting, on her18th she didn't have any chance to celebrate because she was depressed that time and that almost half of her lives she was stuck by her own fear, anxiety, loneliness, lowliness and painful past everytime that she feels alone and no one couldn't be there for her, she got depressed. It was all because Jeanna was sent on Spain studying there, and Senor Armando was on his way on the military training service. She had no one but her cruel father! 

 Before hand Senor Armando was facing her now with a rose on his left side, bow his head while putting his chapeau on his right chest. 

It was an honor dancing with you Binibini?! 

 Senor Armando- - 

But before he got her, Senor Fedel had made a good impression to his father and let him get through with her. 

Bow his head, face her and put her hand to his arms. 

 He had to step his way, and let him assist her, Senor Fedel got her with no hesitation.

"It is my pleasure being with you" But before she refused, she can't do anything because she's stuck with two different man, in a two different worlds. And that she was on the arms of the man she hated the most.

His father standing along, facing her.

 Calling everyone's attention while saying 

"My lady everyone . . and that he have bowed himself to her".

 "My daughter at her 20th, becomes a lady". 

 They were all clapping their hands, and take their steps on the space provided infront. Everyone was dancing, sweet music was played and with their partners everyone was happily dancing.

Isabella needs to set aside her sadness, she needs to enjoy this day without worrying anything. This day is the day she's waiting for. When she realized that Senor Armando and Jeanna left the party, she step her way out looking for them. She look for Jeanna first, but she isn't there present that's why she decided to leave the party and look for the places they could go..

 After while she noticed someone was on the Mango tree, they used to go too. 

She carries a heavy heart with an excitement that she'll find them there.

And she wasn't wrong with that because she exactly find them there, looking back on her. 

"Happy Birthday Isabella". with that smiling face of Jeanna trying to lend her another present gift. 

 What's this? She refused not to receive it because she had already received gifts with Jeanna earlier today, but Jeanna insisted.

I made it for you, it took me so long to write it because I want you to know your worth.

 It isn't something so expensive. But for an author like me, it is something special and has sentimental value.

Isabella -- 

 And how about me? 

Senor Armando was facing her now. 

What do you mean? Is it about?.. . 

 Yes, it is. Jeanna Can you give us a time to talk privately? 

Yes brother. I'm sorry Binibini, I know it's your birthday but it seems that my brother is jealous! I'm sorry. 

And that she took heavy step away from us. 

 Senor, I'm sorry. What is it for? 

I'm sorry if you feel embarrassed of what had happened earlier. 

 You are not sorry Binibini, and I think you feel that and you're happy. 

 Senor Armando --

 Are you sure you need to let me feel this way around? You're being insensitive. 

I need to go. .

 Isabella --  

but before I took my steps away from him.

He already have hold my hand and put it closer to his heart.

Is it because his waiting for you?  

he keep my hand over his hand, holding together.

It was a scary thing and at the same time overwhelming. 

 Where will we go?

 I can see that we are on the same direction going back to the celebration.

 

What does he's planning to do? At the back of my mind.  

 What are you trying to do? with no hesitation I forcely take off my hand on him.  

 I will marry you, and tell your father about it. 

What? Can you please stop?! 

At this very moment I just wanted to dissapear. Whenever he do this, the moment he does. I feel scared everytime but I love him so much and that I always felt loving him even more.

He's someone that I wished to be with forever. 

He is my dream man, which I want to stay in my life and live together for a lifetime. 

" I just hope this love meant for us, even the world changes, I will never forget that love, it can't be change".
