CALEB’S POV She was gone. It had been days. The bed still smelled like her, faint traces of her perfume clinging to the sheets, but no sign of her. No notes. No calls. Just... vanished. I tore through the apartment again, like maybe I’d missed something the first five times. Her clothes were still in the drawer. The phone I smashed still laid in pieces in the trash.
