ALEXANDER’S POV
I gripped the phone tighter than I meant to as Nia told me what happened. My jaw clenched, but I kept my voice steady, calm, reassuring. She was already shaken up, the last thing she needed was to hear how badly I wanted to track that bastard down and rearrange his face.
"You're okay, baby," I told her, keeping my tone even. "Just breathe. I'm right here."
But inside? I was seething. Caleb crossed a line. Calling her? Stalking her? Getting her number through someone she trusted? He wasn’t just playing games anymore…he was testing boundaries, seeing how far he could go without me noticing.
The second I got off the phone with her, I called James.
"Get me someone. Discreet. Qualified. I want eyes on Nia whenever she’s not with me."
