ALEXANDER’S POV The hum of the private jet was a quiet backdrop to the soft music playing through the cabin speakers. Nia was curled up next to me in the wide leather seat, her legs draped over mine, a thin blanket pulled over us. Her head rested on my shoulder, her eyes closed but not asleep, just enjoying the motion of the plane and the warmth between us. I looked out the window at the clouds, then back down at her.
